What a year it has been!  Our finals boasted approximately a 10% increase in teams with almost a quarter of a million

dollars in cash and prizes awarded to the contestants.

As ACTRA members, we need to thank our sponsors for without their backing, this prestigious event would not be possible.

Accolades also need to go to the State Directors for planning and executing a great event, the office, timers and announcing

staff, flaggers, cattle contractors and of course all the arenas.  A special thanks to Martha Funk and Shane Rucker for helping

with the Youth Dummy Roping.

We had great cattle, good roping's, fantastic awards and payout's and super friends for a wonderful 4 days of roping.

Now it's on to the National Finals and the beginning of the 2009 season.  Thanks for a great 2008!
